Just drift away

In a week where OJ Simpson appears to be finally headed for justice, where Alan Greenspan blasted President Bush, and where I ran into Andy Garcia at Logan airport, all that seems to matter to me is the ever dwindling lead of the Mets on the Phillies.

I can't watch the games. I cant listen to the games. I can't watch gamecast. I'm marooned, in this world of Palm Trees and breast implants. And the Mets are falling apart. To fucking Philadelphia, the city with the scummiest fans in all of professional sports (Tampa included). Fuck.

"Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs"

The trade winds have lifted me again, and I'm heading to California. I haven't been to California since I was 12 and my grandmother dropped her purse in the Pacific Ocean.

Now, why am I going to California?

A) To track down the actress who played Evie on "Out of this World"
B) To beg to be a writer on "Two and a Half Men"
C) Strictly for the weather, women and the weed
D) Sticky green

Hopefully the impending Mets playoff run and Belichick fine will cause me to write more when I return, or maybe even cause me to write a special blog from the Left Coast. Probably neither.
